Locals to learn the state of the Port of Baltimore
November 29, 2012 by Sarah
The 23rd Anniversary Embassy Wine Tasting and State of The Port event will take place at World Trade Center Baltimore this evening, November 29, The event will be a celebration of the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) and what it has meant to Baltimore businesses.
Guests will be treated to samples of world wines while they network with one another and discover the story behind transportation via air and sea. Speakers at the event will also be discussing world headlines and how they will affect the Baltimore business community. They will be served appetizers and have the opportunity to enter raffles. Each guest will receive a passport that will be stamped and can then be taken to the WTCI table with their business card to be entered into the draw.
In all likelihood, Baltimore businesspeople who plan to attend will have to make sure they place a new business card printing order before attending, so they have enough cards to enter the raffle and to exchange with their peers. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking during the evening.
Sponsorships are also available for this event from $1,500 to $2,500. All sponsors will receive recognition at the event and in the program booklet that everyone who attends will receive. Concurrent with the event is an online auction that will be running up until December 4.
The event will take place from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm tonight. Tickets are $50 for World Trade Center Institute members or $75 for non-members.
