Celebrate the arts in Baltimore

The 46th annual Fell’s Point Fun Festival comes to Baltimore this year and is a free outdoor festival that draws approximately 700,000 visitors each year.

The main emphasis of the festival is on the arts. The Arts and Crafts Row will feature over 100 artists selling unique and handmade items, with all those taking part having been chosen by a jury. In addition, there will be an international bazaar with over 250 vendors, the Fun Fest Flea Market, over 40 food vendors, carnival rides, five stages presenting musical acts, and a family and children’s area. La Plaza Hispana will feature Latino foods, retail goods, and culture, while The Giving Place will feature non-profit organizations. There will definitely be something to appeal to every member of the family at the Fell’s Point Festival.

Depending on the type of booth they require, vendors will pay from $200 – $510 in rental fees for both days. No doubt the numerous vendors will be working with Baltimore printing companies to prepare for this popular event. With so many booths to choose from and with large crowds, vendors will probably have to do something special to be noticed, so large and colorful banners with the artist’s name, a specific art genre, organization name, or company name on might be a good way to help a booth stand out from the others.

The festival will take place on October 6 and 7 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm each day. For more information, contact Denise Whitman at 410-675-6756.
