June 17, 2013 by Mark
The ‘W’Rocking Wright 1950s’ is set to be a great event for the entire family to come out and share some fun and entertainment.
During this fundraising event there will be a number of notable activities, and guests are encouraged to dig out their period clothing and listen to some rocking 1950s music. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing may have been used to advertise this fun event to people in this region.
Attractions will include children’s games and activities, an antique car show, people dressed in 50’s attire, games, food, a dessert auction, and a silent auction. There will also be a featured dinner starting at 6:30 pm.
For guests who enjoyed the 50s, this event will bring back memories from a time past. For children and younger people this will be a great learning opportunity about a period in time when fun was what is was all about. The silent auction closes at 8:25 pm and the dessert auction will be held at 6:45 pm. This is a great event for hooking up with friends and sharing a great time.
Tickets cost $10 per adult in advance or $12 at the door, and $5 in advance for people under the age of 10 or $7 at the door.
The W’Rocking Wright 1950s will be held on Saturday, June 22, starting at 6:00 pm at the Wright Community Congregational Church located at 4821 Franklin Road in Boise, Idaho. To learn more about this event, or to purchase tickets, visit the church’s website or call 208-343-0292.
