July 2, 2012 by

On Thursday, July 5, the Great Garden Escape will be taking place at the Idaho Botanical Gardens located at 2522 Old Penitentiary Road in Boise, Idaho. This experimental folk and pop music concert begins at 6:30 pm, although the gates open a full hour before this.

The exciting musical concert features live danceable music by featured artists Ryan Peck and Andrew Stensaas. This duo mixes vintage tones with modern pop and folk melodies to create a mystical, unique sound. As a songwriter, Peck’s musical background has been made up of writing many songs on both the guitar and piano. In the past, he has taken the stage with Ben Harper, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Josh Ritter, Mark Ford, Asleep at the Wheel, Reckless Kelly, and many others.

Stensaas, meanwhile, comes from Mason City in Iowa and started his musical career as a drummer who later became lead vocalist, as well as one of the songwriters, in a Portland rock band. His band opened and played with many international acts such as 36 Crazyfists, The Misfits, and Power Man 5000. Both of these gentlemen are extremely talented and the audience is sure to enjoy some outstanding music that will have them wiggling their way to their feet.
