The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre is about to hold auditions in collaboration with Sky’s the Limit Productions at Costick Center, which is located at 28600 W. 11 Mile Road in Farmington Hills. The upcoming production of Peter Pan will be the purpose of the audition, and any resident or non-resident in grades 5 – 12 can try out for parts that include Tiger Lily, Captain Hook, the Lost Boys, Wendy, and Peter himself. The magical Neverland inhabitants will be chosen as well.

A recent school picture is the only thing required to participate in the audition, with audition forms being provided at the location. Actors must be available through November 11 for rehearsals, with the final show dates being November 15 – 18.

Seasoned actors, as well as beginners, are encouraged to audition for the production, which will bring residents of Farmington Hills and the surrounding area to see Peter Pan in November at the Farmington Hills Youth Theatre. Participants learn production aspects, build their confidence levels, and make new friends. More than 160 youth and adults participated in the Wizard of Oz production in the fall of 2011.

The auditions will be held this Sunday, September 9. Print companies will probably be hired to print the playbill for the performance, along with completing flyer printing for promotion. Audition times vary depending on the age of the participant, so it would be advisable to check the website or call 248-473-1859 for the Cultural Arts Division if planning to audition.
