Farmington Hills foodies have a new restaurant to try

Food lovers in Farmington Hills who want to scoff down a great burger now have the opportunity to do just that.

Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers has started serving up its ware in a space that formerly housed a Burger King. The casual restaurant opened last month and builds upon its success at a location in Flint, Michigan. This is its second site and will serve as a model to move the franchise forward.

Company officials say it took four months to revamp the restaurant, which was 45 years old. The new facility now has a chandelier hanging in an area formerly reserved for children, but the main attractions are the burgers. Among the selections are a salmon burger and a black bean burger, the latter of which features beans, roasted corn salsa, and fresh cilantro. The restaurant offers the customer the chance to customize their burger by offering more than 40 different toppings, as well as a gluten-free bun. Freakin’ Unbelievable also features seasonal dishes, and is always inventing new burgers.

The restaurant has been named as a company to watch by a number of organizations, including BurgerBusiness.com and Fast Casual, which ranked it #12 on its 2013 list of Top 100 Movers & Shakers.

The restaurant could work with a flyer printing company to create handouts for distribution near the location.
