Bowl for jobs takes place tomorrow

Tomorrow, Friday February 3rd, 2012 from 7 pm to 10 pm, Drakeshire Foods and Lounge located at 35000 Grand River Ave., Farmington, Michigan will be hosting the 89X/Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit’s “Bowl for Jobs” fundraiser.

The Drakeshire has been supporting the community for more than 35 years and features a large bowling center, a lounge, a snack area, and several game rooms, all in one unique complex. Those attending are invited to enjoy some of the other activities as well. The Drake also offers daily bowling specials for those looking for some inexpensive family entertainment.

This event is open to everyone and residents are invited to attend and help raise funds for this great program. Admission to this event includes pizza, beverages, shoe rental, and a fun night of great bowling. Lots of promotion has already taken place; services like flyer printing and poster printing are ideal to support this sort of event. Now, tickets can be purchased at the door or using email. The cost for this event is $20.00

Those attending this fun event are ask to consider giving a monetary donation, or to bring gently used clothing items, which can be sold to assist the fight against unemployment in the area. Funds raised from this event will go into make work programs to assist those in need. Goodwill Industries, 89X, and the Drakeshire would like to thank everyone who participates in this fight against unemployment endeavor.
