Celebrity Basketball Game April 13

On Friday, April 13th, a “Celebrity Basketball Game” will take place at Pioneer High School located at 601 W Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, Michigan. This event is a fundraiser and the doors will open at 7pm with the actual event taking place from 8pm to 10pm.

This annual fundraising event is sponsored by Braylon Edwards, the University of Michigan All-American and NFL wide-receiver,  and the Braylon Edwards Foundation and will be held the day before the University of Michigan’s Spring Game. The players’ roster for this event is in the finalization stages and proceeds from this event are to support the University of Michigan “A. Alfred Taubman Medical Research Institute”. Part of the proceeds from this event will go towards ALS, or Lou Gehrig Disease also. Research is currently being conducted at the A. Alfred Taubman Medical Research Institute to help cure Lou Gehrig disease with groundbreaking stem cell treatment already in the trial stages.

Last year’s event raised more than thirty thousand dollars towards this cause. Guest, who buy tickets to this event, will be rewarded with a great game and lot of other entertainment. Tickets for this event are all general admission. Adult tickets cost $20 per person, student tickets are $15 per person, and VIP tickets cost $100 per person. Brochure printing about the causes and treatments of Lou Gehrig Disease may be picked up throughout the community or at the University.
