On Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th, the 35th Annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival will be held at The Ark. This event will take place in the Hit Auditorium, 825 North University St., Ann Arbor, Michigan. This annual event is The Arks, Ann Arbor’s non-profit folk festival, major fundraising event of the year.

This year, many of the performing artists have digital business cards that can be downloaded from their personal websites. Saturday evening features Glen Campbell, Emmylou Harris, Joe Henry, Nanci Griffith, Caravan of Thieves, Sarah Jarosz, Heywood Banks and Seth Glier.

This festival brings together a collection of the finest contemporary and traditional folk artists. Each evening upcoming musical acts are mixed with longstanding well-known musical performances, so there is something for everyone.
