Steve Miller Band to perform in Louisville

The iconic Steve Miller Band will perform in Louisville, Kentucky on July 16, with the show taking place at the city’s Palace venue.

It was 45 years ago when The Steve Miller Band launched with classic rock hits like ‘The Joker’, ‘Fly Like an Eagle’ and ‘Space Cowboy’. In the 60s, the band had more of a blues sound but over the years it evolved into the rockier tones associated with the 70s. The band toured heavily during the 80s and 90s playing to a huge fan base across the country.

The Greatest Hits album in the mid-70s has achieved diamond status, with over thirteen million copies sold. It also ranked in the top 50 best-selling albums of all time.

A cover album, Bingo!, was recorded and released in 2010, marking the first release in over 17 years. Steve Miller still tours frequently and is also a music teacher at USC Thornton School of Music. The band has also been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Companies which book concerts often call upon the services of local print companies to assist in providing materials for promotion. Flyer printing is done in big quantities so the flyers can be distributed throughout the region or directly mailed according to an appropriate database.

Flyers are normally printed in full color, with a glossy finish to present the best appearance and attract interest quickly.

Those looking for more information about the upcoming Steve Miller Band concerts should look to the artist’s official website, or the site of the venue itself.
