Sightseeing Dinner Cruise aboard the Spirit of Jefferson

A special sightseeing dinner and guided cruise aboard the Spirit of Jefferson and is now available. The Spirit of Jefferson is one of the few steamboats still in operation on the Mississippi River. It was built in 1929 in Dubuque, Iowa and has a steel hull measuring 90’ long. This cruise offers exquisite cuisine and a spectacular view of the city and surrounding areas during the patchwork of fall leaves now appearing.

As part of the package on this day, guests will be able to tour the Spirit of Jefferson and then and enjoy air conditioning and a heated ballroom deck, full service bar, concession café, sound system, dance floor, indoor and outdoor seating, and a handicap life to the ballroom deck. Motor coach parking for six is also available. The meal served on the tour is buffet style and the guide will be on hand to point out the many historic landmarks in the downtown area of the city.

The price for this dinner cruise aboard the Spirit of Jefferson is $42 for adults, $41 for seniors, and $26 for children from 3 to 12 years of age. The guided dinner cruise is taking place tomorrow evening , October 26, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm and departs from 401 West River Road in Louisville, Kentucky.
