Louisville to host fun for a good cause

Coming up this Saturday, August 18, the 2nd Annual Supply A Dream Give-A-Way Block Party will take place in McDonald’s Parking Lot located at 6214 Old Shephardsville Road in Louisville, Kentucky. This event starts at 11:00 am.

The fundraising activity is being hosted by Power to Change TV’s Charla Young and will present music from Dream Team’s through Tha Roof DeeJay. This is a family-oriented event with a number of guest speakers, including Michelle Yeager from Fitness Guru, Chad Ramsey from Kickoff 4 Kids Foundation, and Dejuan Wheat-Former from the Hall of Fame at the University of Louisville, as well as many others. During the day, there will be live performances, face painting, food, games, dancing, and a variety of other entertainment. Students are requested to bring a backpack and receive free school supplies.

The Kickoff 4 Kids Foundation was founded by NFL player Amobi Okoye in 2007 with a mission to provide hope for kids and build unity in the community and for children worldwide. Okoye graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in psychology after just in excess of three years.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this family event to the residents and the surrounding communities. Admission is free and people of all ages are welcome to come and join in the festivities and raise money for this worthy cause.
