Louisville most luscious eats on the planet

Zagat Survey LLC, a company which rates leisure past times from dining to music and movies has ranked Louisville as one of the world’s “best foodie getaways” for global travelers.
Louisville is right up there with other great cities of the world such as Cairo and Okinawa; provinces such as Canada’s Prince Edward Island or the county of Cornwall in England. This is exciting news for the many Louisville print companies involved in printing direct mail flyers and menus for the local restaurant industry.
The Zagat Survey lists Louisville eateries such as Proof on Main, Maker’s Mark, The Brown Hotel’s English Grill. Must-see Louisville sites for drink include Jim Beam and buffalo Trace distilleries.
Proof of Main is in the 21C Museum Hotel, and the Zagat Survey suggests that the boutique hotel is the number one hotel to stay in while vacationing in Louisville.
“Being on lists like this is not only a lot of fun, it’s another indication of the growing strength of the food and beverage sector in the city’s economy,” Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said in a news release. “Louisville has worked hard to enhance our already strong reputation for great food.”
The culinary community in Louisville has received international attention in addition to the recognition received recently by the Zagat Survey. Southern Living has nominated Louisville as being one of 10 of the South’s Tastiest Towns in that magazine’s contest. Louisville is said to be a close second place to Lafayette.
