Green Derby Gallop races into Louisville

March 12, 2014 by

St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated in a big way in downtown Louisville this year. The Fourth Street Live in partnership with Atomic Rhino Events brings the Green Derby Gallop to the area. Atomic Rhino Events is also the Stampede Racing Series creator.

The racers will charge through the downtown streets of the city amidst the sea of green cheering spectators. Each runner will receive a hat and shirt upon registering. A medal will be awarded to the top 50 finishers.

After the race event, entertainment will be provided on Fourth Street Live. Attendees are encouraged to wear the most outrageous green clothing possible and have a great time with friends and family.

The race is an original 4K run starting at 4th Street Live and winding through the city’s streets. It is scheduled for March 15 beginning at 5:00 pm, and it will end at 8:00 pm.

Banner printing will be a useful tool for the creation of signage to be used for the event. Banners are typically placed at strategic points along a race route to guide the participants in the correct direction. The banners are printed by a qualified printer on sturdy vinyl, often with grommets included for ease of hanging.
