The Casino Knight and Chili cook-off will be held at the St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville on Saturday, February 4. Activities start at 6 p.m. and the event is being put on by the Knight Nation Athletic Club. In addition to chili, wine and beer, a variety of fun and interesting activities are scheduled for the night. Activities will include black jack, horse racing, chance games, poker, tip boards and a raffle for a gift basket. A $2,500 reverse raffle will also be held. A maximum of 50 reverse raffle tickets will be sold. Tickets for those interested in taking a chance at the $2500 prize are $150 and include admission for up to six adults, refreshments, chili and a chance at the $2500. Those who are not interested in taking a chance on the raffle receive free admission at the door. Drink and chili tickets will be available for $2 each. All proceeds from the Casino Knight and Chili Cook-off will benefit the athletic programs at the St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Special events and activities put on by local organizations in the Louisville area often announce the events by creating a flyer, printing it and distributing it to local community members or asking businesses to display them. They may also choose to use local print companies for such things as poster printing, flyer printing or other printing services.
Participants in chili cook-off will include celebrity cooks who will compete for a variety of awards. Cooks will be awarded for people’s choice, originality, and best presentation.
