The Restorative Yoga Retreat is a great way to relax and explore the world of yoga, which reduces deep fatigue and chronic stress, as well as related diseases.

This restorative retreat is great for anyone suffering illness, stress, injury, or dramatic changes in their lives. Poster printing was probably used to advertise this retreat to members of this community and surrounding communities.

Restorative Yoga is a gently-paced introductory program that explores various yoga techniques to promote health. No experience necessary is to participate and all students will learn poses supported fully by props, bolsters, and blankets. Once in the positions, which will be held for several minutes, enhanced breathing exercises will be performed so students receive the most relaxing state of mind and body.

This course is all about harmony between the body and the mind; therefore many find it very helpful when they are feeling under the weather or extremely stressed. The instructor for this retreat will be Jan Byrd,, who has a background in hatha, restorative yoga, yin, meditation, and pranayama.

The cost to attend this yoga retreat is $20 per person and it is suitable for all ages. The Restorative Yoga Retreat will be held next on Sunday, March 24, from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm at the Mind Body Studio located at 517 Southland Drive in Lexington, Kentucky, just down the road from London. To register for this class, please visit the Mind and Body Studio website or call the studio at 859-362-8523 during business hours.
