Christmas is on track at Santa’s train ride

December 10, 2012 by

The upcoming Santa Claus Train Ride with enable families to bring the children’s wish list, take a ride with Santa on a train, and have fun at the start of the holiday season. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras and get some great shots of their children sitting on Santa’s knee. As the snow begins to fall, Mr. and Mrs. Claus drop into the Bluegrass Railroad Museum to share some seasonal fun with the families in the area. Poster printing might be a method used to make a final push to promote this fantastic event to people in the region.

This year, Santa Claus will arrive at the museum courtesy of the Versailles Fire Department and a new ride time has been added. When the train rolls into the station, Santa will visit with every child that is present, while the car hosts and conductors entertain the families as they wait for their turn to visit. Everyone is sure to hear their favorite Christmas carols sung, as the train rolls through the countryside giving families a chance to relax and enjoy a little seasonal break. When the train rolls back into the station, candy canes and farewell wishes will be given to everyone from Santa and his helpers, before Santa journeys back to the North Pole to begin his preparations for the big night that awaits him.

The Santa Claus Train Ride will be happening on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16 starting at 2:00 pm, as well as every Saturday and Sunday until December 23 at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum in Versailles, Kentucky, just a short drive from London.
