Annual fair on its way around again

July 5, 2013 by

The Laurel County Fair is an annual event that is presented by the London – Laurel Ruritan Club and offers family entertainment for all.

The fair has something for everyone, young and old, including rides, a karaoke contest, and a truck pull. Poster printing, flyer printing, and banner printing were most likely used to remind the people in this community and the surrounding towns and cities that it is once again time for the annual fair.

The fair schedule of entertainment can be found online and includes rides for families, kids, and thrill-seekers, as well as a variety of pageants across a range of age groups. Children will no doubt be delighted to visit the Ponderosa Petting Zoo and all are sure toenjoy the Sue Wee Flying Pig Races. There will be drag races for trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt buggies.

For those who enjoy their music, Amanda Combs, a bluegrass singer will take to the stage, as will The Grand Jury, Yesterday’s Wine, and Sweetheart Mafia. This fair has been a community tradition for many years, and is another opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fun.

This cost is $10 per person. The Laurel County Fair will be happening from Sunday, July 7, to Saturday, July 13, at the Laurel County Fairgrounds located at 1855 Barbourville Road, Highway 229 in London, Kentucky.
