YMCA Benefit scheduled in Lexington

February 26, 2013 by

The LIVESTRONG® Foundation will hold a YMCA Benefit Luncheon next week at the North Lexington Family YMCA. The event is in celebration of LIVESTRONG at the YMCA cancer patients and survivors in the program since it launched in 2011.

Proceeds benefiting the North Lexington Family YMCA’s Annual Giving Program will be achieved through ticket sales and a silent auction. The funds provide financial assistance for those that are unable to pay to participate in programs.

The North Lexington Family YMCA is located on 20 acres of land and includes two outdoor basketball courts, a little league baseball field, a soccer field, open air pavilion areas, and an indoor pool with whirlpool, steam room, and sauna. Also onsite is a full-service wellness center complete with strength and cardiovascular equipment, a group exercise studio, and dedicated Saint Joseph Healthcare space. A child development center and nursery are also part of the North Lexington Family YMCA.

Printing companies often work with local community venues in preparing announcement materials for upcoming fundraisers. Postcard printing is an economical and effective method of marketing the event. The postcards can be printed in large volumes and mailed to the residential and entity databases at a lesser postage cost.

A program featuring the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program will take place during the silent auction and the casual luncheon. Tickets are on sale at this time for $15.00 per person. They are available for advance purchase at any area YMCA, or online through the event website.

The luncheon is planned for Thursday, March 7 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
