Rolex Kentucky coming to Lexington

March 27, 2013 by

A three-day event, the Rolex Kentucky Horse Race will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington late next month.

In the Western Hemisphere, it is recognized as the only four-star show of its kind. A whopping $520,000 in prize money will be distributed, along with a Rolex watch awarded to the first place rider.

The dressage competition is scheduled for the Thursday and Friday of the event. Normally, dressage takes place on one day only but, due to the large number of contestants this year, it will be two days this year. Cross-country competition will occur on Saturday and Sunday will feature show-jumping.

The three-day weekend features many events in addition to the horse competitions. A trade fair will be onsite with dozens of vendors displaying and selling their wares. Food dealers will also be featuring international tasty treats.

The vendors typically have their own stores or buildings and participate in vendor exhibits and trade shows to help with their branding. In order to create a lasting impression, vendors usually have business cards available to distribute to people stopping by. Ideally, new business will develop from this effort. Local printing companies handle business card printing routinely and have many options and ideas to assist with the creation of the cards.

Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available. The Rolex Kentucky Horse Race website has complete information about these opportunities, as well as vendor applications and ticket sales. To speak with a representative, please contact 859-233-2362 in time for the April 25 – 28 event.
