New off-price retailer coming to Lexington
February 12, 2014 by Mark
Lexington shoppers looking for the latest fashions in clothing and home décor, but without the latest price tags, can look forward to the opening of Ross Dress for Less in March. The new store will occupy a space at 2200 Barton Way in Hamburg left vacant by Office Max.
According to company spokesperson Connie Wong, the California-based Dress for Less runs over 1,000 stores across the country. Once the Lexington outlet opens, it will join three other Dress for Less stores in Kentucky.
Wong’s email announcement went on to state:
“Our buyers in New York and Los Angeles keep their fingers on the pulse of the latest styles and work closely with manufacturers to negotiate the best deals for our customers.…we receive new merchandise many times a week, so customers can find a constant flow of designer and name-brand items at savings of 20 to 60 percent off department store prices.”
While Dress for Less is an exciting addition to the discount merchandise choices for consumers, the store also presents opportunities for the business community. For example, retail merchants need an array of printing services, from flyer printing that highlights in-store specials to poster printing for in-store displays, could stand to benefit.
The Lexington Dress for Less store is expected to open March 8 and will no doubt be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
