Lexington hosts the Gallery Hop

On Friday, April 20th, Lexington’s Downtown will be hosting “The Gallery Hop” presented by LexArts, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary of this event. This event will take place in downtown Lexington and run from 5pm to 8pm.

The downtown Lexington “Gallery Hop” is celebrating its 25 anniversary. This year guests will enjoy a stroll through downtown Lexington and visit 46 locations displaying the fine art work of some of the finest visual artists in the area. As there is so much to do and see at this event, the LexArts Gallery completed a brochure printing project, plus designed a website to assist guests with creating their own visual experience.

The LexArts Gallery will also be introducing a Hop Mobile App which is available to all for free and can be used on iPhones and Smartphones. This technology will provide exceptional detail of the exhibition, as well as provide GPS direction for navigating the sites. As well, local artist Yoshika Azuma was commissioned to create the artwork for a limited serious of collector lapel buttons which will be given out to Hop guests free of charge. In addition, the Lexington Youth Arts Council will be acting as staff for the information kiosk located in downtown Lexington.
