Business and education the Lexington theme next week
October 10, 2013 by James
Unified Technologies will host a lunch seminar on unified communications solutions for business owners early next week.
The seminar will help business owners learn how to improve and simplify their business communications and management, and increase the productivity and efficiency of their employees. With lots of business owners likely to be present, there might well be a brief opportunity to network, so carrying out some business card printing in advance may be fruitful.
Lunch is included with admission when it takes place on Tuesday, October 15. The seminar will be held at 11:30 am at the Lexington Country Club, 2550 Paris Pike, Lexington. To reserve a seat, call (502) 459-9141.
Also on the theme of careers and self-improvement, a free college financial planning night will be held on Thursday, October 17, at Paris High School, 310 West Seventh Street in Paris. With college being an expensive endeavor both many parents and students alike, this workshop hopes to make traveling that path a little easier.
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm, and should be ideal for those students who need financial assistance and those just looking for scholarships.
Information will be given on the best strategies to pay for college and how to save tax wise. Students and parents will also learn ways to pay for a private university, what assets are used in determining family contribution by the U.S. Department of Education, and alternative ways of paying for a college education.
For reservations call (614) 536-0246 and use code EVPA.
