Annual event honors local business leaders

August 4, 2016 by

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual dinner next month.

The event will start off with a cocktail reception with an open bar. This will be an opportunity for those attending to meet with their peers and exchange custom business cards. It will be followed by a sit-down dinner and the awards ceremony. Afterward, the cash bar will open and there will be further opportunity for networking.

There are six awards to be handed out during the evening, including the Walter R. Dunleavy Frontiersman Award (given for lifetime service), the ImageMaker Award (a person or persons who have brought attention to Northern Kentucky), the Devon Cup (awarded to a person who has influenced the community), and the Walter L. Pieschel (MVP) Award (for an outstanding Chamber volunteer).

This event is one of the biggest networking events of the Northern Kentucky business community and it is very likely that many of those who are planning to attend from communities such as Florence will be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite print company.

The NKY Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner will be held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on September 15, beginning at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $95 each and tables of 10 are available. To find out more about this event, or the awards, call 859-578-8800.
