The Last Troubadour April 13
April 7, 2012 by Sarah
On Friday, April 13th, the Peecox Bar and Grill will be hosting “The Last Troubadour” performing group. The Peecox Bar and Grill is located at 635 Donaldson Highway in Erlanger, Kentucky. This performance will begin at 8pm.
The Last Troubadour was founded by a pair of brothers. The two founding performers are Bernie Hill who plays the drums and horns and Frankie Hill who plays rhythm guitar, sax, and does the lead vocals. This group has only been around for the past few years, but they have accomplished much, such as winning the Energenza Battle of the Band in Cincinnati. By winning this Battle of the Band competition, they claimed the title “Best Unsigned Band in Cininnati”. After this feat, two additional members joined the band as performers who still appear with them today. Those two new members are Patrick Lynch who plays lead guitar and Eric Burgstrom who plays bass and backup vocals.
The Last Troubadour has their own unique sound but it has something that everyone will enjoy, no matter what the age group. All their music focuses on love, government censorship, love and betrayal. The music is so catchy that people often find themselves tapping or singing along without even being aware of it. The Last Troubadour has a new album, “Every Revolution Needs a Soundtrack”, and they are on their way to greater things.
Digital flyer printing can be located on The Last Troubadour’s website and outlines their performance schedule. This event is free to attend. Age of majority must be shown. For additional information about this performance, please call 859-342-7000.
