September set for Dickensian Twist

August 30, 2013 by

Adapted by Neil Bartlett, the beloved Charles Dickens classic Oliver Twist will be appearing at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company on Race Street. As Cincinnati is a close and convenient drive from Erlanger, many local residents are looking forward to seeing the production.

The premier of this old favorite will present a new stage adaptation complete with a large cast, and creative sounds, sights, and songs all bundled with the spirit of Dickens’ London.

This is the 20th Anniversary season for the entity and it kicks off with this renowned story. The tale follows the harrowing experiences and adventures of an orphan boy as he travels through Victorian England. Cagey characters, such as devious Fagin, Artful Dodger, and dark spirited Bill Sikes will bring energy and fun to the stage. The story is presented through the eyes of a child.

The production will offer performances from September 6 – 29 with evening performances at 7:30 pm from Thursdays to Saturdays and matinees at 2:00 pm on Sundays. Ticket prices range from $27-$35 for adults, seniors, and students.

Frequently, printing companies are contacted to help promote theatrical performances through various print materials. Poster printing is a common request as posters can contain information that attracts the public eye and stimulates interest. They can be mounted to any flat surface such as pillars, walls, and windows. If printed as part of a high quality, professional presentation, they often make for a highly effective marketing tool.
