Hopkins County Fair not far away

July 17, 2013 by

The Hopkins County Fair is scheduled to take place later this month in Madisonville, Kentucky. The fair draws thousands of people from neighboring communities, including Erlanger, throughout the event.

Many activities are scheduled during the four-day period, with radio station 93.9 KTG kicking off the event on July 23 with the 1980s band The Hollywood Gutterrats and the rock band The Cold Stares beginning at 7:00 pm.

The real action begins on July 24 when the Tractor Pull takes place in the arena beginning at 7:00 pm. The next night the Freestyle Motocross Stunt Show will amaze audiences as they watch some of the top athletes in the world defy gravity.

Friday, July 26 will feature the KTPA Truck Pull and Local Truck Pull featuring super stock four-wheel drive trucks, pro-stock two wheel drive trucks, 2.6 diesel trucks, and 4,300 light pro-stock trucks.

An audience favorite, the Mud Run, will compete as they participate in the West Kentucky Mud Racers Heads Up Double Elimination.

Vendors play an important role in the success of the county fair, as many people peruse the booths and exhibition areas. Typically, vendors work with a print company to order banners for their booths, and banner printing is easily handled by a qualified printing company. Registration is currently open for vendors and sponsors.

To participate in any of the events, or to become a sponsor or vendor, visit the Hopkins County Fair website for complete information, and to download and print forms.
