Erlanger hosts Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair

A number of local employment and commerce organizations will sponsor the March 2013 Hiring Our Heroes veterans’ job fair. The event will be held at the Receptions Banquet and Conference Center in Erlanger on Donaldson Road.
The event is committed to providing a venue for veterans and military spouses to explore employment opportunities. Additionally, it gives employers the opportunity to interview and talk with the nation’s heroes.
The job fair begins at 1:00 pm with the first hour being open to veterans and military spouses only. Thereafter, families of veterans may join.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes has entered into a partnership with Military.com to provide online resources for veterans in cooperation with the job fair efforts of the chamber. Veterans are now able to obtain resources and assistance for writing resumes, interviewing, translating their military skills and training to civilian career and finding job opportunities.
Employers with job positions available throughout the community are encouraged to participate at no charge in this job fair. Pre-registration information and forms are available via the entity website.
Job fair managers often use printing services to help facilitate the event. Banner printing provides highly visible signage for each employer booth reflecting the name, logo, and brief information about the company. Sometimes, the banners are hung at the top of a booth and at other times they are draped in front of a table, depending on the set-up at the venue.
