Early November nightmare for Erlanger spooksters

November 2, 2013 by

Located in the northern area of Kentucky along the Ohio River, The USS Nightmare will be offering one of the top Halloween haunted house attractions this year.

Voted one of the top 13 haunted house attractions by Haunt World Magazine, it attracts people ready to have the “ship scared out of them” – as its promotional tagline goes – from nearby cities such as Erlanger and Crescent Springs.

The USS Nightmare will come alive with a horrific story enhanced by the sound, animations, lighting, and special effects found in Hollywood movies.

The attraction is actually built on an authentic steamboat dredge that was nicknamed the Death Dredge by the old crew. Legend has it that Captain Mitchell’s strange family and the mysterious crew haunt the vessel regularly.

Poster printing is an effective method of advertising seasonal holiday attractions. Vivid colors and enticing text can attract wide audiences and enhance interest.

The tour is over a half hour in duration and features two levels of bone chilling thrills and over 40 areas sure to terrify. The ship is 288 feet long and includes the crew quarters, galley and new pantry within this new version of the tour. For those brave enough, the mess hall can be rented for private parties.

For those faint hearted or very young visitors, the family fun center provides a waiting area along with a concession area, photo gallery, a laser tag game, and other fun activities.

The attraction is open through November 6 and the entity website has complete details and pricing.
