Nicholasville gets ready for wreaths

December 5, 2012 by

This Saturday’s Wreath Workshop will provide guests with a chance to create their own holiday decorated wreaths just in time for the Christmas season. This is a great opportunity to do something with older children before the holidays and make something special to hang in their home or on their front door. The cost of this workshop includes bows, a wreath ring, cones, berries, and all the fresh cut greenery gathered up from around the barns.

This course is being taught in a tobacco barn and lets guests cuddle up by a crackling wood stove to work on their own unique wreath. The atmosphere is delightful and there will be instruction and plenty of guidance available for anyone who needs it. Guests are reminded that since gathering the greenery is done outdoors, they should dress warmly, bring pruners, and wear gloves.

Print companies may have been used to prepare the necessary course material for this workshop and seating is limited, so reservations are required. Also, light refreshments and hot beverages will be served throughout the course. Guests will enjoy a wonderful afternoon and leave with something special for their home, made by themselves, just in time to celebrate the holidays.

The cost of this course is $45 per wreath. The Wreath Workshop is being held this Saturday, December 8, starting at 10:00 am at Springhouse Gardens located at 185 W. Catnip Hill Road in Nicholasville, Kentucky, just a short drive from Danville. To reserve your spot, please visit Springhouse Gardens’ website or call the office at 859-224-1417.
