Danville gets festive next week

On Thursday, July 12, the Danville Thursday Night Street Festival will be happening at Hartz & Soles located at 411 Hartz Avenue in Danville, California. This event begins at 5:30 pm.

The festival takes place one Thursday evening each month and the July festival will feature three action-packed live performances at the main stage located on Diablo Road, hosting the headline group, John Wayne Zink and the Rock n Roll Project.

During the festival, there will be two stages featuring children and adult exhibitions. In the children’s exhibition arena there will be live cheerleading, BMX riding performances and acts, dancing, and various Taekwondo level exhibits. The adult area will feature mixed Martial arts demonstrations, a Puppy Parade with costume contest, a Zumba exhibition, and a variety of dance demonstrations. There will also be a children’s play zone with an assortment of vendors, a bouncing house, and the Museum of the San Ramon Valley Train.

Guests are encouraged to shop locally, and have the opportunity to win a $500 gift card from the local merchants in the area. This festival features a number of local performers and is a great event for the entire family, with another street festival set to take place on August 9.
