Thanks to a former school teacher with a dream, Woodland Hills residents now how another clothing option, one that caters to customers looking for chic, eco-friendly fashion.
Cynthia Lodwig has opened her dream shop, Juniper & Lane, bringing together her love of vintage clothes and accessories with her goal of owning her own business.
Lodwig and her daughter, Christina Catania, both wanted Juniper & Green to be a “green” business and that’s reflected in the store’s merchandise. Lodwig said:
“From our wind-powered web host to our 100% recycled business cards and gift bags, we strive for environmental sustainability in every aspect of our small business.”
According to Lodwig, the family owned business offers an eclectic mix of goods that makes it attractive for shoppers of all ages, and the inventory is constantly changing. She said:
“Anyone who appreciates a unique and beautiful selection of vintage goods at reasonable price points will enjoy their shopping experience at Juniper & Lane.”
Located on Ventura Blvd. at Fallbrook Ave. in Woodland Hills, the shop features jewelry, home décor, and furnishings in addition to clothing. Of course, new retail is always a welcome addition to a business community. For enterprises that support merchants, such as business card printing services, new stores spell new revenues and a likely surge in business.
