Vallejo is rich in athletic history which will be evident at the 11th Annual Vallejo Sports Hall of Fame celebration in March. The event will be held at the Foley Cultural Center beginning with a social hour and a silent auction followed by dinner and a ceremony.

The Vallejo Sports Hall of Fame dedicates efforts for the preservation and honoring of people, memories and events within the community’s sports heritage.

Steve Mortara will be the emcee for the event. Several Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored at the event from various sports genres. Special achievement recognition will be bestowed upon race car driver Pat Hughes. Bob LaBelle and John Baptista will receive coach honors. A team award will be given to the 1956 Vallejo JR College basketball team. Individuals receiving awards include Demetrius Davis, Jim Davis, Royan Hammond, Rusty McManus, Roni Sparrey, Cliff Stroughter and Barton Williams.

Printing companies are often involved in preparing marketing materials for events of this nature. Flyer printing is a common order as flyers are used to market the event in advance. The flyers can be distributed manually from many different points. They can also be direct mailed to a database. Flyers can be printed in full color, partial color or black and white. They can be printed on one side or on front and back depending on the needs of the customer.
