Learn about the effects of karma in business

The Orange County Small Business Resource Network (OCSBRC) reports that in California each day the number of DBA’s grows by about 300. This incredible surge in small business start-ups is driven largely by the high layoff and unemployment rates. Highly skilled and well educated professionals are being bounced out of what were once thought to be primo career paths in corporate world. The growth of entrepreneurial ventures is predicted to keep expanding during the next two years.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small firms employ 50 percent of all private sector workers, and pay 44 percent of the US payroll. However, the learning curve for new entrepreneurs is steep and fraught with failure. Nearly a third of new businesses fail to celebrate a second anniversary.

The OCSBRC provides support to small businesses of all types through small business networking, business strategy, seminars, perks, and discounts. Owners of small businesses in Tustin are always welcome at the Meetups sponsored by OSBRC. Each Meetup features a guest speaker with expertise in a particular area of business. Participants enjoy socializing and networking with each other in a casual and relaxed environment.

The only preparation needed is a trip to the local printing company to stock up on networking hand-outs like business cards, brochures, and flyers to exchange with other members.

Join the OCSBRC to unlock the mysteries of successful entrepreneurship. The next scheduled event will show you how to double your business this year. Learn from guest speaker, Joe Nunziata, how to shape your business karma.
