Couples learn to cook romantic dinners together

August 12, 2012 by

Couples looking for a fun learning experience in cooking can arrange to have a romantic dinner for two at the Couple’s Romantic Date Night at Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom, located in Los Angeles. The address for the class is 2366 Pelham Avenue in Los Angeles, which is only about 35 miles away from Tustin.

The event will boast an elegantly arranged dining table, complete with candles and tablecloth. Guests are encouraged to bring their own wine to complete the romantic evening. A cheese tray will begin the experience, which starts at 7:00 pm and lasts until 9:30 pm on Saturday, August 25.

The classes are more like parties, with an instructor helping prepare the exquisite meal rather thanlecturing in a classroom. A brief cooking lecture will start the event as the couples prepare the romantic meal. Pairs will prepare lamb loin chops spiced with rosemary and oregano, herb roasted cherry tomatoes, mashed potatoes with roasted garlic and thyme, homemade fettuccine pasta, and wine-poached striped bass and fennel bulb. The dessert will be a chocolate rum mousse topped with homemade whipped cream.

Registration for the Romantic Couples Cooking event costs $200 for each couple and can be done online. Print companies are probably in the process of completing flyer printing for the cooking classes in date for the Date Night. There are two further opportunities to enroll in the couples cooking class for October or December as well. Interested couples should contact the staff at Chef Erik’s Culinary Classroom at 310-470-2640 for additional details.
