Stunt dogs come to Torrance
January 6, 2013 by James
Dogs of all shapes and sizes will perform the coolest of tricks Sunday, January 13, at 2:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center.
Stunt Dog Experience will bring some of the most amazing stunts that dogs can do, including feats of leaping, agility, and catching. These fine canines will also perform in comedy acts and dancing.
Events include a stunt dog triathlon competition, Frisbee catching, high jumps, and a weave pole challenge.
These show dogs have performed on such popular TV shows as the Tonight Show, David Letterman, Ellen, Nickelodeon, Animal Planet, and Good Day LA.
Art to Grow on Children’s Arts Center, Inc. will provide free art activities to children who arrive early to the show. Tickets are $22.50. A $2 discount is available to season subscribers.
The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is located at 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance.
If watching the dog show inspires bringing a dog home, there are plenty of adoptable dogs available at St. Anthony’s Canine Rescue & Compassion On the Pacific Rim in Lomita.
Pictures of available dogs can be found on its website. All dogs adopted are spayed or neutered and micro chipped. This facility also offers a lifetime return of any adopted dog for any reason. Adoption fees range from $100 – $350. Most available dogs are in the small to medium range.
The facility also has a large selection of adoptable cats. Many owners of lost pets use flyer printing as a way to notify neighbors of missing pets, and the use of social networking sites is also a good method to locate lost animals.
