The 2014 Los Angeles Ride For Kids has been scheduled for May in Torrance, California. It will be held at the American Honda Motor Co, Inc.

Ride For Kids is an entity that raises funds for medical research along with support programs for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Incentives are in place for participant’s raising $100 or more.

The Ride for Kids program started in 1984 and has evolved into a national series of rides benefiting the foundation. With over 28,000 people living with the brain tumor diagnosis and approximately 13 additional children diagnosed each day, the program plays an important role in fundraising.

The event is a family-friendly occasion with fun-filled activities throughout the day. Registering for the ride is free of charge although donations are strongly encouraged. The ride typically averages 40-50 miles depending on what city and the designated route.

Riders can participate on an individual basis or form teams. Teams should arrive early on the day of the race so the bikes can line up together prior to the start. A light meal and beverages are included at each event.

Print companies frequently assist in producing materials for events of this type. Most outdoor races require the use of banners to direct the participants appropriately. Banner printing is simple for qualified printers as they will use durable vinyl and proper lettering. Banners are typically hung along the route and throughout the venue.

The Torrance Ride for Kids is scheduled for May 4, 2014. For more information visit the event website or call 800-253-6530.
