Southern California’s premier endurance mountain biking race will be held this weekend at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula.

The 12-hour event begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 19. There will be both six and 12 hours of relay racing for both solo riders and teams. All riders must be present at the same time in order to check in and receive their race packet. The six-hour racing ends at 3:00 pm and awards will be presented shortly after.

A special kids’ race will begin at noon on Saturday. This is a great opportunity to see the best and brightest coming up through the ranks.

Riders who do not preregister will be charged a $10 late fee. Onsite registration will take place at 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Friday evening or 4:30 am – 7:30 am on race day.

Also this month, ‘Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.’ will be presented by the Temecula Youth Musical Theatre group January 24 – 27 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre, 42051 Main Street, Temecula.

Tickets are $7 for general admission. Children under the age of two are free if they sit on an adult’s lap but they must have their own ticket. “Babes” tickets are available at the ticket office. For more information or tickets, call (866) 653-8696.

Poster printing and flyer printing are both wonderful ways to promote community events and flyers are easy to hand out to friends and relatives, or to mail to family members living further away. They also make great souvenirs and mementos for scrapbooks.
