Christmas trees to be won from Habitat for Humanity

November 14, 2012 by

Instead of decorating their own trees this year, festive folk in Temecula can take a chance and purchase a raffle ticket for a fully decorated tree from Habitat for Humanity’s Christmas Tree Lane.

The 16 trees will be on display through December 17 at the Promenade Temecula, 40820 Winchester Road #2000, Temecula and Europa Village Winery, 33475 La Serena Way, Temecula. Each tree is decorated in a unique style while the Signature Giving tree is decorated with gift cards and valued at over $1,000.

Raffle tickets are only $1 each or 10 for $5, and the winner does not need to be present to win. For more information, call (951) 296-3363.

Winner of the ornament contest this year is Mike Miller, whose design will be featured on the 2012 Habitat Inland Valley Christmas ornament which will be for sale at the Promenade Mall until December 17. Runner-up Martin Venturini’s design will be used on the official Habitat Inland holiday card.

Elsewhere in Temecula, wine-tasters will love the spirit of giving at the Thornton Winery at 32575 Rancho California Road. With the donation of three cans of food, donors will receive a two-for-one wine-tasting through December 25.

The offer is available Sunday through Friday in the Champagne Lounge. Donations should be made to the winery gift store, and participants must be 21 or older.

With so much Christmas cheer beginning, flyer printing would be a wonderful way to let customers know about Temecula’s plans.
