Studio City goes to a Country Fair

The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, with the help of the Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation Department, will be hosting its 12th Annual Hometown Country Fair at the end of April. Thousands are expected to attend.

Kids can enjoy those traditional carnival rides, and will want to bring their dogs for the Dog Parade and their parents to the arts and crafts exhibits. They may also enjoy viewing the animal exhibits. Older ones may want to enter the pie eating contest, or enjoy the entertainment, live music, and food booths.

Community nonprofits and local businesses will be out on the lawn or in booths passing out flyers with information on their services and products. Some food vendors will be handing out free samples. Event sponsors will have their logos on banners that will be flying throughout the venue.

Studio City moms and dads can look over antique, classic, and other unique cars, including hotrods, at the Car Show. There will also be a forum on hotrod legends.

The festivities will take place on Saturday, April 29, at Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park, 3901 Dunsmore Avenue in Glendale. The park is located on the corner of Honolulu and Dunsmore avenues. The fair hours will be 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. The event will be free and held rain or shine.
