The Run for Blood 5k fundraiser has been scheduled in Stockton, California for August 4, running from at 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The mission of the event is to raise funding for blood centers in the community while bringing awareness to the importance of having an extensive blood supply, trained professionals, and state-of-the art facilities.

The event welcomes competitive runners, casual walkers, and people just interested in supporting the efforts of local blood bank and health centers. It presents a fun and interactive way to give back to the community. Sponsored by the Delta Blood Bank in Stockton, all proceeds of the Run for Blood event benefit the local Dameron Hospital Foundation.

The Run for Blood course will consist of a 5k-loop beginning at the Stockton Ballpark and looping around Weber Point Park. This flat, paved course will be free of traffic during the event.

Stockton printing companies may end up involved in providing printing services, including banner, signage, and poster printing for the Run for Blood event. They may also work closely with organizers in meeting the printing requirements for this well-attended event.

Interested participants can register online at the Run for Blood website. All ages are invited to participate with children being supervised by adults. Registration will take place at 277 Lincoln Center on the Thursday and Friday before the event from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Information packet pick-up will be available on the day of the race at the Stockton Ballpark between 6:30 am and 7:30 am.
