Ethics for Accounts conference coming soon to San Diego

July 28, 2013 by

A conference, Ethics for Accountants, has been scheduled for August in San Diego and CPA Dana Basney will be the featured speaker. Attendees from surrounding cities and neighborhoods such as Sorrento Valley are welcome to attend.

An update of the level of ethics and related topics for accounts will be discussed. It is critical that clients can rely on the services of a CPA to present a true analysis of a company and associated documents and reports. Ethics training helps accountants avoid dilemmas and risk.

The presenter, Dana Basney, holds shares in Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., a CPA firm. He is also a director at CBIZ MHM, LLC which is located in San Diego. Basney specializes in due diligence, insolvency services, and litigation. He assists in mergers and client acquisitions frequently.

Basney has been practicing public accounting for over 30 years and is highly experienced in tax, consulting, and audit disciplines. He has represented many taxpayers before local, state, and federal authorities. He has also offered services to various entities, including those closely and publically held.

Printing companies frequently work with training agencies in preparing marketing materials to publicize upcoming classes. Catalog printing is a common project for schools and training entities. Catalogs list all of the upcoming classes and related information, as well as sponsors and advertisers.

Ethics for Accounts will take place on August 21 from 11:30am to 1:30 pm at the CBIZ Offices at 10616 Scripps Summit Court in San Diego.

The cost to attend is $20.00 per person and registration is open until August 19.
