Santa Rosa participates in Sonoma County Restaurant Week

Fine wine, food fresh from the farm, and choices galore fill the seven days of celebration in the Santa Rosa region during Sonoma County Restaurant Week, coming up next month.

Prix-fixe menus will be featured at participating restaurants, including three-course menus with price points including $19, $29, and $39 as set by each establishment. Most menus will include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Wine is available and may be at an additional charge.

Chefs are encouraged to use local farm ingredients, as well as feature wine from local vintners. Many restaurants have registered for participation. Zazu Restaurant and Farm is a popular dining spot in the area as it provides ‘farm to table’ menus using fresh food directly grown onsite. Baci Café and Wine Bar presents authentic Italian cuisine and specialty wines from Napa, Italy, and Sonoma. Baci means ‘kisses’ in Italian.

For those looking to fulfill the sweet cravings, the Petaluma Pie Company will be serving its famous homemade pies at their bakery café. Dozens of other local restaurants throughout the neighboring communities in Sonoma County will also be participating as they feature their farm fresh ingredients in signature dishes.

For large events covering a broad region, it is important to communicate in advance to ensure strong attendance and participation. Local printing companies can provide banner printing for signage needs as well as marketing material print services, such as flyer and banner printing.

Tickets are not needed to participate in the restaurant extravaganza but reservations are highly recommended. The event website has complete information available and the week’s activity will be held March 18 – 24.
