Santa Rosa celebrates ‘A Thoughtful Harvest’

October 23, 2012 by

This weekend, the Eastside Bunch Wineries will present ‘A Thoughtful Harvest’ wine spectacular. The day will include visiting eight family wineries including Viszlay, Rodney Strong, Acorn, Deux Amis, Limerick Lane, Merriam, Mietz, and Mutt Lynch.

Santa Rosa is located in the beautiful region of Sonoma County, known as wine country. Winemakers will greet visitors offering the newest wines. A variety of food cuisine will also be available to contribute to this hearty harvest event. Some winery locations are offering winemaking lessons and hands-on participation.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Sonoma County’s Food for Thought Program, which assists in providing a source of nutrition for men, women, and children afflicted with serious illness.

Tickets are on sale now through the event website and are available for adults 21 years of age or older. A specially discounted price is allocated for the designated driver.

Frequently, fundraising entities or charitable organizations call upon the printing services of local printers to handle merchandising projects such as flyer or brochure printing. Brochures can be given out at the beginning of a charity function and contain the day’s schedule of activities, special interest information, and sponsor acknowledgement.

The organization that is the chosen benefactor of fundraising efforts will commonly have business cards, flyers, and other printed materials available at the event as well. This provides an opportunity to acquaint the attendees and participants with the organization’s purpose, mission statement, history, and leaders.

The day runs from 11:00 am through 4:00 pm this Saturday, October 27.
