Spring Enchantments presented in Santa Clara
May 28, 2013 by Mark
The Santa Clara Ballet will present Spring Enchantments at the Mission City Center for the Performing Arts in Santa Clara, California. The event will feature the Santa Clara Ballet School and Company performing classical ballets in excerpts from Les Sylphides and Coppelia.
The school offers classes for all ages, abilities and levels. The Santa Clara Ballet Association’s mission is to promote the interest in ballet as an art form while providing dancers the opportunity to grow and perform. The association also feels that the quality of life is enhanced through the cultural experience and diversity offered through the various performances.
The Santa Clara Ballet Company is funded by dues, donations, sponsorships and support of the City of Santa Clara and has been for 39 years. Various fundraising projects are held each year, as well.
Many times, catalog printing is a request for local print companies by performing arts entities. The catalog would include schedule of performances, artists’ names and bios, advertisements and sponsor information. Sponsors expect public acknowledgement of their generous contributions and a catalog is an excellent venue for featuring them. Catalogs are generally a souvenir for attendees as well as performers so they are around for a long time.
The ballet company began as a repertory company in 1973 and has expanded its artistic offerings with productions such as Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.
Spring Enchantments will be performed on on June 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m, and a schedule of performances as well as ticket information and purchasing options is available at the Santa Clara Ballet website.
