Percona Live MySQL Conference comes to Santa Clara

February 28, 2013 by

The Percona Live MySQL Conference and Expo in Santa Clara will take place this April at the Hyatt Regency and the Santa Clara Convention Center. The three days will consist of workshops, training sessions, and some of the world’s leading MySQL presenters.

MySQL is touted as the most popular open-source database in the world as it powers huge scale sites such as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. The conference presents opportunities to network with leaders in the industry, participate in problem-solving exercises, learn about the system architecture in-depth, and visit the extensive expo displays.

Printing companies play an important part in working with exhibitors for conferences of this type. Exhibitors typically need signage including banner printing for their booths. They also normally place large orders for business card printing so they have an ample supply of cards to distribute to expo attendees.

Topics included in the various segments include developing applications, database administration, trends in architecture and design, utilizing hardware, best business practices, new features, and virtualization.

Several high level speakers have been scheduled throughout the conference. Some of those speakers include Aleksandr Kuzminsky, Principal Consultant, Data Recovery Specialist with Percona; Alexander Rubin with HortonWorks; Ammon Sutherland, MySQL Red Ventures; Anders Karlsson, Senior Sales Engineer, SkySQL; and Antony Curtis, Senior Software Engineer, LinkedIn Corp.

Sponsorships are available for those interested in an audience consisting of over 1,200 developers, executives, technology experts, and entrepreneurs. The event website has complete information regarding all components of the conference, which is scheduled for April 22 – 25.
