Halloween party to get young people in the spirit
October 29, 2013 by Max
The Youth Activity Center (YAC) will host the annual children’s Halloween party later this week, and is encouraging participants to come in costume, because a contest will feature on the center stage.
The party is open to children in preschool through fifth grade, and will include fun activities including carnival games, trick or treat houses, cosmo jumps, arts and crafts, a pumpkin music walk, and, of course, plenty of candy.
The YAC offers recreational programs for all ages, from babies up to senior high school students. An afterschool program is also available, along with recreation classes, sports camps, and skating at the entity’s park.
The Halloween party will be held this Thursday, October 31. Volunteers are needed to assist prior to and throughout the party. Applications for volunteers are available online right now, and the organizers would like to have as many volunteers as possible to ensure efficiency and proper supervision for the children for everyone’s safety.
Flyer printing is an effective method of communicating upcoming events like this. The flyers can be distributed at the schools and throughout the community, with the goal of creating awareness and interest, thus increasing participation. Banner printing is also an effective way of generating attention, as the banners hang high in the air where motor and foot traffic can see.
For more information on the event, call 408-615-3760 or visit the event’s website. The YAC is located at 2450 Cabrillo Ave in Santa Clara, California.
