Santa Ana to Welcome New Art Gallery

Opening May 5 in Santa Ana, California, the Q Art Salon will be a hub of activity for art lovers. The gallery features contemporary art and will make its debut during Santa Ana’s First Saturday Artwalk. Its first display is a group exhibit called “The Knights Debut.” This exhibit showcases paintings by Sean Cheetham, Alex Kanevsky, Marc Trujillo, and William Wray. While some of these names may be familiar to art enthusiasts, “The Knights Debut” will also give a few new artists the opportunity to present their work to the public.

Offering 2,500 sq. ft. of open space, the Q Art Salon hopes to help the Downtown Artist Village in Santa Ana continue to grow. The area already features several galleries and studios for public enjoyment, but the Salon’s director, Jose Quant, would like to see more contemporary work in the future. He said:

“The more galleries and artist spaces in the area, the more the Artist Village will continue to grow.”

Local business owners and event hosts looking to reach a crowd with interests in the art, or wanting to advertise more general goods and services, should try postcard printing, and commissioning some flyers, posters, and banners in time for the Santa Ana Art Walk. On the first Saturday of each month, galleries like the Q Art Salon will open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will attract an ideal amount of foot traffic. This monthly event covers four blocks of the Artist Village and can be a great opportunity to spread the word about your event or business through printed materials and word of mouth.
