OC medical stakeholders set to meet
October 18, 2013 by James
The event is the ‘Medical Device and Investor Forum’ and will be held over two days. Orange County Technology Action Network (OCTANe) sponsors the forum every year.
In attendance will be early stage entrepreneurs, leading executives and investors of the medical device sector, a significant part of Orange County’s economy. Much of what is seen and discussed here, such as the latest trends, and innovations in medical device technology, is likely to find its way into newly designed and composed medical brochures.
The OCTANe website says:
“We want to create, develop, and accelerate biomedical and information technology businesses in Orange County. Our goal is to create a thriving “ecosystem” in Orange County that fuels technological advancements and company development.”
The membership includes venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, investors, strategic advisers, and academicians.”
Highlights for this year’s event will include innovations in medical device technology in the cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and interventional neurology. There will also be information available through discussions on such matters as The Affordable Care Act and Regulatory Approvals, along with a range of other relevant topics.
This year, the event takes place next Tuesday and Wednesday, October 22-23. The Medical Device and Investor Forum will take place at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. A block of discounted guest rooms have been secured for attendees with rooms subject to availability.
