Union Street Spring Celebration and Easter Parade

On Sunday, April 8th, 2012 the 21st Annual Union Street Spring Celebration and Easter Parade will take place on Union Street, between Gough Street and Fillmore Street, in San Francisco, California, which is just down the road from San Rafael, California. This event is scheduled to begin at 10am and run until 5pm.
The 21st Annual Union Street Spring Celebration and Easter Parade take place in the historic shopping district of San Francisco and features a day packed with activities for people of all ages. At this event, visitors will enjoy live music, free events, children’s activities, an Easter bonnet competition, tasty treats, and the special appearance of one well know bunny. There will also be an interactive Radio Disney Road Crew showcase for everyone to enjoy. This children will love the inflatable jumping activities, while the parade participants will appreciate the awards for Best in Show, Best Pet, Best Family, Largest Hat, Most Creative, and so many more.
The parade for this event begins at 2pm and leaves the corner of Union Street and Gough Street. This year there are more than 50 entrants with hundreds of participants that will make their way through the parade route. Observers will see everything from vintage cars and innovative floats to rollerblading cows and costumed characters. At the main stage, located at the corner of Buchanan Street and Union Street, live entertainment will continue throughout the day.
